Hilando Mexico –Embroidering Mexico- is charity that support the work of the Mayan community of artisan women based in ICHMUL, Yucatán México.
Hilando Mexico commissioned us with the design of a collection of furniture to pay tribute to the work of these amazing ladies. A distinctive furniture edition that will not only showcase but honour and praise -in the most beautiful way possible- these brilliant hand-embroiders.
Each piece is unique and entirely handmade, fusing traditional craft and contemporary design, resulting in a stunning furniture collection. Organic, dynamic and welcoming, each settee has its very own story to tell embroidered along its body.
