The Wild Bodged Chair edition
Borne from the woods of San Jose del Pacifico, at the highest point of Oaxaca’s Sierra Madre, in Mexico; The Wild Bodged Chair edition is an intriguing, one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces of designart, created in collaboration between Val and Oaxacan artisan Gabriel López. The Wild Bodged Chair re-stages something forgotten, overlooked -dead wood, yet not dead at all- from Nature back to Nature.
Inspired by the classical Victorian ‘Porter’s Chair’, The Wild Bodged Chair recreates and tropicalize its concept, delivering a new one based on traditional craftsmanship and ruled by Nature. Each pieces is a one-off and made by request.
