Following the successful launch in 2009, The Ghost of a Chair is back at the London Design Festival 2010 in a major installation.
13 Ghosts is a limited edition collection of 13 chairs that celebrates Designersblock’s 13th Anniversary. The installation is an homage to the people who have facilitated the best international design since 1998.
For this year’s London Design Festival, we will be exhibiting, in conjunction with Designersblock, in The Bargehouse, an impressive 5-story warehouse in the Oxo Tower Wharf. The raw space, vast and untouched, is the perfect environment for unearthly and ghostly revelations.
13 Ghosts is a collection of 13 free-form chairs, handmade out of 4mm transparent polyester sheets. Each piece is unique due to its unconventional manufacturing process, using a combination of high-end technology and craft in a labour of love. Volatile and unpredictable, each Ghost chair is a one-off.
The pieces are available for purchase during the show.
Free installation by the designer upon request and within London Town.
